Nagano Prefectural Mountaineering Center
An educational institution in Nagano Prefecture where visitors can learn knowledge and skills to climb mountains safely and enjoy mountain nature. Conducts various projects related to the promotion and awareness of safe mountain climbing.
The artificial wall (3m high and 10m wide) in the experience room can be used without reservation.

Salt Road Chojiya / Yabusame Hall
The salt wholesaler of the former Hirabayashi family. “Salt storehouse” was built between the Edo and Meiji periods, and is very valuable for retaining the structure of the time.
The Yabusame Hall introduces the summer festival of Nyakuichi Oji Shrine and Yabusame (archery on horseback), which is a summer tradition in Omachi City.

An interactive venue where visitors can explore Suntory's manufacturing and its 100-year vision with all five senses.

Chihiro Art Museum Azumino
The world's largest colllection of works by picture-book artist Chihiro Iwasaki, along with illlustrated books from around the world. Next door lies Azumino Chihiro Park, including "Totto-chan's Square", inspired by "Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window". Both kids and adults can easily spend a full day here.

National Treasure - Nishina Shinmeigu Shrine
Standing here since the Heian era, this venerable shrine is shaded by towering cedars and cypresses. Its Main Hall, covered passage, and middle gate - all in the shinmei-zukuri style also used for Ise Grand Shrine - are Japan's only National Treasures of their kind. Traditional events and festivals are still carried on in each season.
